The M. Ariel Love Foundation is excited to reflect on the success of our First Annual Safe Love Skate, an evening dedicated to empowering youth and families through conversations about healthy relationships, self-worth, and respect.
Held in Pearland, Texas, the event welcomed youth, parents, community partners, and supporters for an evening filled with skating, music, school supply giveaways, interactive activities, and meaningful conversations centered around our mission:
Safe Love Saves Lives.
One of the evening's most impactful moments came through our Safe Love Prompt, where participants answered one simple question:
"What does Safe Love mean to you?"
The responses were thoughtful, honest, and inspiring. Each voice reinforced why these conversations are so important and reminded us that healthy relationships begin with self-worth, communication, respect, trust, and healthy boundaries.
In addition to skating, attendees participated in interactive activities, connected with community resources, and received school supplies to help prepare for the upcoming school year.
Thank you to our volunteers, board members, donors, vendors, community partners, and everyone who attended and supported this inaugural event. Your presence helped create a welcoming environment where meaningful conversations could take place.
A special thank you to A. E. Sons for bringing a large group, The Sacred Flower for partnering with us as a vendor, and the Houston Texas Book Club for supporting our mission through attendance and community engagement.
