You're Invited to Our 3rd Annual Domestic Violence and Me Workshop
Join us for an empowering and enlightening experience at our Annual Domestic Violence and Me Workshop. This year, we’re focusing on the critical issue of **sexual abuse**—a subject that demands our attention, compassion, and action.
Date: October 12, 2024
Time: 12:30PM
Location: Sienne Branch Library, 8411 Sienna Springs Blvd Missouri City, TX 77459
In this impactful session, you’ll hear from both an expert and a survivor who will share their insights and experiences. They will educate us on the often-hidden signs of abuse and the profound effects it can have. Through interactive activities and open discussions, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of what abuse looks like and how we can work together to combat it.
We are honored to have special guest, Amber Brown with TWICE, who will speak on how pregnancy can further exacerbate domestic abuse situations and the devastating impacts this has on victims and their families.
