On February 7, 2026, our community gathered for MayDay, a space intentionally created for remembrance, awareness, and prevention.
What began as a deeply personal mission has grown into a collective movement rooted in education, healing, and action. MayDay is not simply an event. It is a commitment to speak names, to uplift survivors, and to confront domestic violence with courage and community.
This year, we honored two lives whose legacies continue to shape the hearts of their families and our shared responsibility to do better. Their memory was not met with silence, but with love, presence, and purpose.
We also uplifted the voice of a survivor, a powerful reminder that while we remember those lost, we must also stand boldly for those still navigating healing and rebuilding.

Art as Advocacy
MayDay 2026 reminded us that prevention and healing are not only spoken but also expressed.
Through dance and spoken word, artistry became awareness. Creativity became courage. Our performers transformed the room into a space where emotion met education, and expression met empowerment.
Art allows us to process what statistics alone cannot. It reaches the heart, and the heart is where change begins.

Community Makes the Mission Possible
We are deeply grateful for every attendee, volunteer, partner, and sponsor who stood with us.
Special thanks to our generous community supporters:
Our local bakery sponsor, Sweet Extravagance, for the beautiful MayDay cake
Kendra Scott and Gringo’s Tex-Mex, for raffle contributions
Olive Garden, for donated food
Our dedicated volunteers and board members
Your generosity strengthened this gathering and affirmed that prevention work is never done alone.
The Impact
Because of MayDay 2026:
• 50+ community members gathered in solidarity
• Two honorees were remembered with dignity
• A survivor's voice was uplifted
• Creative advocacy engaged hearts and minds
• Prevention conversations were sparked
• Community partnerships were strengthened
This is how change builds... not overnight, but intentionally.
What’s Next
MayDay is not the conclusion of our work. It is a continuation.
In 2026, the M. Ariel Love Foundation remains committed to:
Expanding youth education and prevention workshops
Strengthening community partnerships
Amplifying survivor-informed advocacy
Building collective action to address domestic violence at its roots
Prevention is not passive. It requires participation.
If you believe in building safer families and stronger communities, we invite you to partner, volunteer, support, and continue standing with us.
Together, we continue the work.
With gratitude,
M. Ariel Love Foundation
