A Letter from The Founder: The Next Chapter of Safe Love

Dear Friends, Supporters, Partners, and Community,

There are moments in every journey when you realize you've grown beyond where you started. M. Ariel Love Foundation was born from unimaginable loss... the loss of my daughter, Maylaysia Ariel Levy. While that loss will forever be part of our story, it is no longer the only thing that defines our work.

Today, our mission has become something even greater.

We believe that prevention is possible.

We believe young people deserve to experience relationships rooted in respect, trust, communication, healthy boundaries, and self-worth before they ever encounter abuse.

Most importantly... We believe that Safe Love Saves Lives.

Those four words have become more than a slogan. They have become our commitment.

A commitment to educate. A commitment to empower. A commitment to elevate. Because being safe extends far beyond physical safety, it means feeling emotionally safe.

It means being respected. It means having your voice heard. It means knowing your worth.

It means understanding that love should never require fear, control, manipulation, or silence.

"Safe" should be the standard in every relationship, with friends, dating partners, spouses, family members, classmates, coworkers, and even ourselves. That vision is shaping every initiative we launch. Over the coming months, the M. Ariel Love Foundation will continue to expand youth-centered programs designed to meet young people where they are.

We're excited to introduce opportunities that combine prevention education with creativity, allowing youth to express themselves through the arts while learning what healthy relationships truly look like.

We're preparing to launch our Youth Advisory Council, giving young leaders an opportunity to help shape conversations, programs, and solutions within their own communities. Their voices matter, and we believe they deserve a seat at the table.

This summer, we'll gather families for our Safe Love Skate, a celebration of community, connection, and healthy relationships. Alongside an evening of fun, we'll provide school supplies to help students begin the new school year with confidence and support.

Looking ahead, we're excited to continue that momentum with our October community workshop, where we'll foster meaningful conversations that strengthen families, encourage healthy relationships, and empower individuals.

We're also honored to join the Texas Youth Action Network (TYAN) Cohort, collaborating with organizations across Texas that are committed to improving outcomes for young people. This opportunity will strengthen our ability to grow, innovate, and expand our impact.

In addition, we're proud to partner with AVDA to advance prevention efforts through community education and collaborative initiatives. Together, we'll equip youth, families, educators, and community members with practical tools to recognize healthy relationships, establish healthy boundaries, and intervene before abuse begins.

This next chapter isn't about doing more events. It's about building a movement.

One where prevention becomes the expectation, not the exception. One where conversations about healthy love begin earlier. One where young people understand that their worth is never determined by how someone treats them. One where communities work together to ensure every person knows they deserve relationships built on respect, dignity, and safety.

As we continue this journey, I invite you to walk alongside us.

  • Attend an event.

  • Volunteer your time.

  • Become a partner.

  • Share our message.

  • Invest in prevention.

Most importantly, become an ambassador for Safe Love in your own home, workplace, school, and community, because every conversation matters. Every young person matters. Every family matters. And every life is worth protecting.

Thank you for believing in this mission and helping us create a future where healthy relationships are the norm, not the exception.

Together, we will continue educating, empowering, and elevating our communities.

Because now more than ever...

Safe Love Saves Lives.

With gratitude,

Quiniecesha Levy-Flemings
